St. Patrick's Projects

St. Patty's Day is a funny holiday to me.  We aren't drinkers but the kids are really good pinchers and they love any excuse to pink someone.  Try not wearing green in their presence this March 17th and see how fast they'll pounce on you.  So, we celebrate!  We must decorate for Lucky the Leprechaun because we don't want him to not come to our house.  He always leaves clues to find a hidden pot of chocolate gold coins for us.

Bit O' Luck St. Patrick's Day Blocks Class

This week, I'm teaching my St. Patrick's day blocks class.  I made these blocks because I was tired of not being able to find any nice St. Patrick's day decorations.  I was scrolling through my pictures tonight and found these picture that I shot back in January.  I forgot all about it!  Ah yeah, it's time to freshen up the shelf.

Bit O' Luck Blocks

I can't believe I forgot to post pictures of my other class!   We like to decorate for Holidays and my kids won't let me forget about St. Patrick's Day!   The excitement of being able to pinch someone who is not wearing green and getting away is just too wonderful to let go.  But, have you ever noticed that there is not any good St. Patrick's home decor?  I decided to make some blocks with some pretty, sophisticated patterns and voila!  St. Patrick's decor that is not plastic, shiney and awful!

St. Patrick's Day Tassel

Just shipped out a custom order today and wanted to share with you how fun it turned out.
