Decorating Idea

Cute Erin is the best seasonal decorator that I have ever met. And she's great at sending me pictures of her ideas. I love the way that she is using the Chocolate Bunny tassel in her display. It's simply hung the tassel off of her mantel with her decor anchoring it. Isn't this a new and fun idea?
Love where you have put your tassel?? Send me a picture! I would love to see and it and share with others.

Hi, wee li'l bunny! Oh, aren't you so sweet and velvety? You looks so cute hanging from my knob.
Ooooo! I really do love you on my shelf! You pop against the dark background and fresh green and crisp white. Oh! Just as cute sitting on a candlestick holder. Or sitting by it as a little Easter/Spring touch with your daily decorations.

Isn't he cute?? I adore his pop of apple green. He measures from top of bunny to bottom 4 inches and 3 inches wide.

Limited edition gift special only available on my blog for the bargain price of $8. Get some for gifts and of course get one for you.

Shops you must check out!

Just giving a little shout-out to my friends new Etsy shops that I think are worth visiting.

First off, Jodi, who I have featured here, has been selling her wooden goods like hotcakes at the local boutique. Jodi can do it all. She cuts, sands, stains and paints up a storm and is always making something new. She just opened her own little Etsy shop, My Three Little Ladies, and filled it up with her new original Spring designs. I heart that funky chick and the Bunny letters. Even though I already have dibs on them, she has plenty more to share with you.

So quick! Hurry on over and check out her goods and the killer prices she sells them for!

**********************************************************

Next up is the Mama Monster. She's got a retro-chic vibe about her and blogs about what she makes and likes on Made By the Mama Monster . I think that she needs to invite me to dinner because mmm!, that Mediterranean meal looks delicious! Anything with avocado and feta cheese in it doesn't fly at my house and I just can't justify it just for myself.

Mama Monster recently had some great inspiration that she took to heart, busily working while mothering her three little boys. Just opening her brand new shop, Maybe Someday, she features her vintagey-hippy headbands that are unique and sassy. I personally love the earwarmer size and the adjustable flower.

****************************************************

Last, but certainly not least, is my cute friend Nicole of the popular blog Our Cozy Nest. She's got more sewing talent in her pinkie finger than I do in my whole body. Her blog, Our Cozy Nest, features her latest projects and home decorating. I love her kitchen redo! If I could ever be so brave as to paint my cabinets black, I would in a heartbeat!

Nicole's a busy girl being a mother of three, blogging guru, decorating diva and fellow flautist that has somehow found time to make a few new goodies for her shop, also named Our Cozy Nest. (If that's not enough to make you feel like a slacker, you should know that her house is always incredibly clean!) I especially am liking the pincushion. Much more chic than my stuffed tomato. And, if you hurry quick, you can get in on her giveaway for her cute Springy bag that she whipped up. Her quality and attention to detail is impeccable. I know you won't be disappointed!

**********************************************

So head on over to their shops - My Three Little Ladies, Maybe Someday and Our Cozy Nest - and have a look around. Find something you like and get it for yourself or your favorite someone.

Enjoy!

Happy Spring Bunny

This custom made bunny is happy and springy. Love his bright blue bowtie and messy yellow, blue and white fringe.

My customer fell in love with this cute little bunny sitting on top of an egg and requested that I make a tassel out of him. He was so happy and cute, I just about didn't let him go. I wanted to keep him for myself.
Have something that you would love to see made into a custom tassel just for you?? Email me, leave a comment or convo me on my Etsy site and we will work something out.

Chocolate Goodness

Do you have a favorite candy holiday?? Growing up, Easter candy was by far (and still is!) my favorite. Of course I had to pick up this chocolate bunny because I always wanted to get a big chocolate bunny in my Easter basket. This chocolate bunny looks good enough to eat sitting upon a fresh bed of green and pinks. A polka dot scarf dresses him up just right. Delicious!

And who can resist a chocolate egg painted with pink and green. First made in a size that looks smashing on your armoire or staircase banister. Layered green, cream and brown with classic toile and stripes makes it a keeper.

Like a shorter look? Me too. This pom-pom style features pink and green fringe on top of a custom made tan pom-pom base. Tie it together with chocolate fringe and a satin ribbon making it tailored and sophisticated yet unique.

Either way you like it, you better choose soon because these chocolate goodies are selling out fast.
$20 each

Easter Bunny

Since the days are gray and Spring feels so far off, I wanted this bunny to feel fun and fresh. Fresh green and bright pink brought that much needed Spring-like feeling.
This little guy is one of a kind and would be happy to live with me unless someone else would love him just as much.

A New Idea - Think Spring Bunny

Tassels don't necessarily have to be hung. They can look just as adorable as can be plopped right down in your decor. Take for example this cute idea of a Valentine's custom cupcake order. Look how cute it looks just sitting by her little tree.
Taking that concept and moving onto spring, this uber cute wood leaping bunny with a pom-pom of tan fringes makes a simple, yet striking spring decor for you or your best buddy.

I adore the way it looks here, looking posh, under a glass cloche. Or try it simply on your bookshelf atop a stack of books or decorative boxes. Place it on your countertop for a dash of sophisticated spring decor. Looks great on your mantel, decorative tables, desk etc. too.

**Limited quantities available for $12 each.
As always, please contact me if you are interested!**
SOLD OUT! Thank you!!

Everyday Finial

I have a thing for finials. I like the way they look. I like to decorate with them. I always want to buy them at the store. So naturally, when I found these beautiful wood finials, I knew that they would make the perfect, luxiourious everyday decoration. As usual, I started out by making one for me. The rich deep wood against the cool blues, browns and camels are just the right colors for my front room.

Here it is custom ordered with a bit of warm gold instead of blue.

And again, another custom order with a softer layered blue fringe and more warm trim.
$22

SOLD OUT! Thank you!

A Wee Pot o' Gold

I have had a lot of requests for St. Patrick's Day tassels so when I found this wee l'il pot o' gold, I knew it would make one cute little decoration.

Sparkly, kelly green pot with gold paired with bright white and black fringe, my favorite checked ribbon in the whole wide world, polka dots and classic clover ribbons. I wish that I could figure out how to make the pictures do justice to my tassels. They are so much better in person!

This wee pot o' gold is $12 and is a limited edition only available on my blog. Email me if you are interested! St. Patty's Day is just around the corner!
